About the Manuals (general, condition, type, etc.)

Q: Are your books Chilton or Haynes manuals? Do you carry them?

A: No. We only sell the original factory manuals that are made directly by the manufacturer. Our manuals contain precise, detailed information and step by step instructions that Chilton and Haynes do not provide.

Q: Are the manuals you sell new or used?

A: We carry manuals that are both new and used. Some are brand new, still sealed in their original factory wrapping. Most are in like new or slightly used condition. We will never send you a severely damaged or otherwise unusable book. All pages will be intact and legible.

Q: What is the difference between an owner’s manual and a service manual?

A: The owner’s manual is what is included in the glove box of your car. It shows features and recommended maintenance intervals. The service manual contains in depth troubleshooting and instructions on how to service your vehicle. These are usually very detailed with illustrations and exploded views. Shipping

Q: How do you ship your items?

A: We ship through US Postal Service. If you prefer another carrier, please call our toll-free number to place your order 1.866.586.0949.

Q: I want my items faster, how can I make that happen?

A: We would be more than happy to expedite your shipment. Please email or call us before you place your order. We can then verify additional postage with you and make sure it gets mailed immediately.

Q: How long will it take for my order to arrive?

A: Regular shipping typically takes 7-10 business days to receive your manuals in the continental US. It may take slightly longer for other areas in the world. We can always upgrade your shipping to an expedited method if you call us toll free.

Q: How do I track the status of my package?

A: All of our packages are shipped with a tracking number and this can be provided to you through your email address. If you did not submit your email address with your purchase, then please call or email us with your email address, name, and order number so we can provide you with this information.

Payment (buy and sell, discounts, etc.)

Q: Do you take other forms of payment besides Credit Cards and PayPal?

A: We also accept cash, personal/business checks, cashier’s checks, and money orders. If you do choose to pay with one of these rather than with a credit card or PayPal, then please call our toll-free number to place your order. 1.866.586.0949

Q: Is there a discount for ordering a large number of manuals?

A: We do give a quantity discount if you are ordering more than just a few items. Please email or call us before placing your order for details.

Q: I have books to sell. Are you buying? Do you trade?

A: Yes, we are always buying original factory manuals and will trade manuals for others. If you feel you have item/s we may be interested in, please call or email us and we will give you a quote.

Manuals on CD/DVD (general, instructions, etc.)

Q: What is the difference between the service book and CD/DVD?

A: The service manual CD/DVD contains the exact same information as the physical book. A lot of times the CD/DVD has much more information than the actual book. Topics are searchable and every page can be printed from your home computer.

Q: How do I use your Dodge Service Manual DVD?

A: 1. Insert DVD
2. If AutoPlay dialog pops up, click on “Open folder” to view files. If it doesn’t automatically pop up, then open “My Computer” and right click your DVD drive. Then select “Open” from the drop down list.
3. Open “default.htm” with Internet Explorer ONLY. If you do not have IE, you can download it for free here: Internet Explorer Download
4. In the top right hand corner of your browser, there is an option for English or Espanol. Select your appropriate language.
5. Select the year of your vehicle from the drop down list.
6. Select your model from the drop down list.

Q: How do I use your Ford Service Manual DVD?

A: 1. Insert DVD
2. If AutoPlay dialog pops up, click on “Open folder” to view files. If it doesn’t automatically pop up, then open “My Computer” and right click your DVD drive. Then select “Open” from the drop down list.
3. Click on “Setup” and follow instructions.
4. When asked how you would like to connect to Oasis, choose “No Connection”
5. DO NOT start the program when asked.
6. Set your computer to the date on your disc. This will enable it to be used indefinitely.
7. Open the “Service Information” link in either the Start Menu or on your Desktop.

Returns

Q: I received the wrong manual, what do I do?

A: We guarantee your 100% satisfaction. If you question whether a book will serve your particular needs, please email [email protected] or call us Toll Free 1.866.586.0949. If you are not happy for any reason at all please contact us and we will resolve the issue.
All returns will be honored within 14 days of delivery, with reason provided, in the same condition as originally supplied.
If you have a return or wish to cancel your order, please contact us ([email protected] or 1.866.586.0949) for further instructions.
There is a 20% restocking fee for all returns. This restocking fee will be waived if the error is ours.
No returns on CDs/DVDs if factory seal is broken.

Q: Do you take orders over the phone? What about fax?

A: We most certainly take orders over the phone. You can call us between the hours of 7:00am – 5:00pm CST on our Toll-Free number 1.866.586.0949. You can also fax an inquiry to our fax number 563.583.3096. You can request a Fax Order Form. Please include your Name, Phone Number, Product/s you are inquiring about, and Email (optional). We will contact you to complete your order.

Q: Why is the price of an item $0.00?

A: Because we are constantly updating our website and adding products, sometimes there is a slight delay between the time the product is uploaded and when it is priced. You can either call or email us to get the actual price, or wait a day or two until the price of the item is loaded.

Q: A manual I need is not listed on your site, what should I do?

A: Feel free to contact us either by phone or email to check for availability. We are always getting new items in and they may not be listed on the site just yet.
